Zamana.pk: Shopify redesign for a slow watch store

We rebuilt a slow Pakistani watch store on a Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme and did the SEO. In Search Console, clicks rose 58% between the first and last four weeks of a 13-week window.

Shopify redesign + SEO

Zamana.pk is a Pakistani online store for original watches. We rebuilt its store on Shopify and worked on its search visibility.

The business

Zamana.pk has been trading online since 2017. It sells men’s and women’s watches from brands including Casio, Citizen, Timex and Swiss Military Hanowa, with free shipping across Pakistan.

The problem

The previous store was too slow. On a catalogue-heavy shop, where most visitors arrive on a phone from a search result, a slow page loses both shoppers and search visibility.

What we did

  • Redesigned the whole store, not just the homepage.
  • Moved it to a Shopify Online Store 2.0 block theme, which made a large, noticeable difference to speed.
  • Did the SEO alongside the rebuild, across the collection and product pages that bring in most of the store’s search traffic.

Results from Google Search Console

These figures are Google web-search data for zamana.pk over the 13 weeks from 6 July to 5 October 2026, exported on 8 October 2026. We compare the first four weeks (6 July to 2 August) with the last four (8 September to 5 October).

  • Over the full 13 weeks the store had 12,616 clicks from 366,396 impressions.
  • Among the queries Google lists, fewer than 1 in 10 clicks (416 of 4,711) came from people searching for the Zamana name. Most traffic came from shoppers searching for products and brands.
  • Product listings shown with price and availability in search results (product snippets) earned 2,319 clicks in the period.

What these numbers don’t show: Search Console can’t separate the effect of the speed work from the SEO work, or from seasonal demand, and the export doesn’t cover the period before 6 July. We’re reporting what Google recorded, not claiming one change caused all of it.
