Shopify Migration Services for WooCommerce, Wix & Squarespace Stores
Moving to Shopify should leave you with a faster, easier-to-run store. It shouldn’t leave you with a traffic crash and a pile of broken links.
As a Shopify migration agency, we run WooCommerce to Shopify migrations, Wix to Shopify migrations and Squarespace to Shopify migrations, plus Magento and BigCommerce moves, all on a fixed price. Products, customers, order history and your hard-earned Google rankings come with you.
Platforms we migrate from
| From | Common reasons people move |
|---|---|
| WooCommerce | Plugin conflicts, hosting and security headaches, slow checkout |
| Wix | Limited e-commerce features, SEO constraints, outgrowing the builder |
| Squarespace | Inventory, shipping and app limitations as the catalogue grows |
| Magento / Adobe Commerce | High maintenance and development cost |
| BigCommerce, Neto/Maropost | Team prefers Shopify’s ecosystem and admin |
What we migrate
- Products: titles, descriptions, variants, SKUs, prices, images, stock levels, tags and collections.
- Customers: accounts and addresses, subject to Shopify’s password rules (customers set a new password through an activation email).
- Order history: past orders for reporting and customer service.
- Content: pages, blog posts and their images.
- SEO equity: a full 301 redirect map from every old URL to its new Shopify URL, plus preserved title tags, meta descriptions and headings.
- Integrations: email marketing, reviews, accounting (Xero, MYOB), shipping and POS, reconnected or replaced.
Our Shopify migration checklist for protecting your Google rankings
Most migration traffic losses come from the same few mistakes: missing redirects, changed URLs with no plan, deleted content, and lost metadata. Our SEO specialists run a migration process on every project.
01
Benchmark first
Rankings, traffic by page, backlinks and indexed URLs, recorded before we touch anything.
02
Redirect map
Every URL that gets traffic or backlinks is mapped to its closest new match.
03
Content parity
Key pages keep their copy, headings and internal links.
04
Launch-day checks
Redirects tested, sitemap submitted, Search Console monitored.
05
Post-launch monitoring
We keep watching and fix crawl errors as they appear, for a window agreed in your fixed-price proposal.
How it works
01
Free call and store review
We look at your current store, catalogue size and integrations.
02
Fixed-price migration plan
Scope, timeline, and what will and won’t transfer automatically.
04
Data migration and testing
A test migration first, then a final sync just before launch.
05
Go-live
DNS switch at a low-traffic time, redirects live, test orders placed.
06
Aftercare
Monitoring and fixes during the post-launch window.
Pricing
Fixed price per scope, excluding GST. Some short-term fluctuation is normal after any migration. A controlled migration keeps it small and temporary.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a WooCommerce to Shopify migration cost?
In Australia, professional migrations typically range from about $3,000 to $15,000 depending on catalogue size, integrations and design work. Our fixed-price migrations: small stores From A$1,990, medium stores From A$4,990.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I move to Shopify?
Not if the migration is done properly. Rankings drop when URLs change without redirects or content is lost. We map every important URL with 301 redirects and keep your on-page SEO intact. Small, short-term movement is normal; a sustained drop is not.
Can I migrate customers’ passwords?
No platform can move passwords securely, so customers receive an account activation email to set a new one. We help you word that email so it reads as an upgrade rather than a chore.
How long does a Shopify migration take?
Most of the time goes into design, testing and redirects. Moving the data is the quick part. Catalogue size and integrations are the main factors, and we confirm the timeline in your fixed-price proposal.
Do I need to add you as staff or give you admin access to my Shopify store?
No. Staff seats are limited on Shopify’s lower plans, so we don’t use one. We send a collaborator request from our Shopify Partner account, you approve it and set the permissions, and you can remove access when the migration is done. If a step needs something collaborator access can’t do, we’ll explain and agree it with you first.
Will my store go offline during the migration?
No. We build and test the new store in the background. Your current store keeps trading until the switch, which usually takes minutes.
Is Shopify better than WooCommerce?
For most small and mid-sized retailers who want less maintenance, yes. For content-heavy sites or very custom requirements, WooCommerce can still win. Read our Shopify vs WooCommerce comparison.
